ACTION 1: Help the Homeless Citizens at “The Jungle” on Dec. 16 and Dec. 17

Reminder about this weekend’s Jingle of Hope event: https://www.facebook.com/events/533197300353995/. Here is how we can help: Volunteer to help with pick-up and removal of trash; Donate/lend clean-up supplies (rubber gloves, guerilla carts, heavy duty gloves, shovels, rakes, low-density garbage bags etc); Donate money for supplies and other clean-up costs. Donate pre-made meals, snacks, and water for volunteers and camp residents. Volunteers will meet in the parking lot of 3200 Pacific Avenue, Olympia WA 98501. Organizers will be present at this location throughout the day to register volunteers to go over a brief safety training.

As the conservative attacks on Special Counsel Robert Mueller heat up (see: http://www.cnn.com/…/muellers-path-was-muddied-i…/index.html), this is your periodic reminder that, in the event that Mueller is fired, we will be joining Olympia Indivisible’s Mueller Firing Rapid Response – Place Holder Date – See Details: https://www.facebook.com/events/527561690918618/.

ACTION 2: Thank Govenor Inslee for Support of Net Neutrality

As expected, the FCC this week rolled back net neutrality protections. Our leaders in Washington are working to ensure state-level net neutrality is safeguarded. Please take a few moments to thank Governor Inslee (360-902-4111) and Attorney General Ferguson (360-753-6200) for their efforts!
