Here’s how you can help:
Clean, usable donations in good condition are needed: clothing, toys, books, tools, furniture, kitchen items, bedding, etc. Please, no out-dated, old microwaves, tv’s, printers, computers or CRT monitors. (flat screen is okay)
Any plants from your garden can be added to the plant sale. Bring empty pots to donate for next year’s sale, especially the 6” (gallon) or larger sizes.
Baked goods can be sold from the kitchen by the piece or whole. Put cookies in small, sealed bags or wrap in plastic to sell one (if large) or more (if small) at a time. Cakes and pies could sell by the slice or whole. Cupcakes are welcome, too! Our famous, delicious quick breads will be for sale again this year.
If you can help with setup, pricing, sales, or would like more information, please call Macy and Shane Jewell at 360-943-6437 or email: email@example.com
Proceeds from the rummage/plant sale will fund ongoing maintenance projects to assure the schoolhouse will be available to the community for another 100 years.
PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD OF THIS SALE TO ALL YOU MEET!
The first Delphi School was established in 1899 on the east side of Delphi Road. The second schoolhouse was built in 1910 in the current location on the west side of Delphi Road. Classes continued until 1945. Former students and neighbors formed the Delphi Community Club (DCC) and placed the building on the historic register. In 2010, the DCC coordinated the Delphi community centennial celebration of the Delphi Schoolhouse. The schoolhouse is available for short-term rental. Call 360-943-6437 for details.
