Celebration of International Workers’ Day!

May 1 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm PDT

Come celebrate International Workers’ Day with us! This past year labor has been fighting back! From the teachers rebellion in the education industry to the recent United Electrical Workers strike in Pennsylvania. Lets continue to make May 1st the day that workers remind the world that we make the world move and therefore have the power to make it stop!

This is a family friendly event. There will be music, food, games, comradely, and fun! We will be updating this event as planning continues. Save the date and tell your friends!

Tentative Schedule (will be updated and revised soon):

3:30 PM to 4 PM: Opening, Intro to International Workers’ Day, introductions of host organizations
4 PM to 4:30 PM: Political Latin Jazz music with Anjali Silva
4:30 PM to 5 PM: Poetry by Lennee Reid
5 PM-5:30 PM: Talks by South Sound Tenants’ Union, O.W.L.S. TTOC, and Just Housing
5:30 PM: Dinner Served
5:30 PM to 6 PM: Music from Dogtooth and Nail
6 PM to 6:30 PM: Talk by Industrial Workers of the World member Dylan B., IWW General Education Union, Friends of the ATC
6:30 PM to 7 PM: Citizen’s Band
7 PM: Community Sing Along
