Emergency Rally for Unist’ot’en

January 14 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm PST

Free

4pm at the Watchtower behind and to the left of the Farmers Market toward the water.

Unist’ot’en is a camp created by the Wet’suwet’en nation of so called British Columbia to prevent a “natural” gas pipeline from being build, the implications would be disastrous for the environment.  They have made a call out for solidarity actions because they are now under threat of a violent raid on their own land.  https://unistoten.camp/

Please come stand with us as we call out our local polluters and their ties to big coal oil and gas. The Port of Olympia uses a company called ACGI to move logs out of our port, this company is also a huge transporter of dirty coal and crude oil from the Alberta Tar Sands, we are putting pressure on the Port of Olympia to break ties with this Canadian company and make them aware that our eyes our on Unist’ot’en and also on polluters here.

This event will be family friendly, full of information to learn more, and some artistic and creative elements like projection!  Dress warm, and if you can bring a cup to toast, a sign, instrument and all of your friends. Please share widely!!!
