Olympia Forum on the Iran Crisis

January 8 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm PST

FORUM / EMERGENCY ORGANIZING MEETING ON THE CURRENT CRISIS WITH IRANWEDNESDAY, JANUARY 8, 7PM-9PM (Please share)TRADITIONS CAFE, 300 5TH AVE. SW, DOWNTOWN OLYMPIATrump’s dangerous escalation of US wars in the Middle East by the assassination of an Iranian official is a violation of International Law and can bring about a possible catastrophic war that can be much worse than the actions of the US government thus far in the 21st Century. We are not helpless in resisting not only the current criminal activity of the Trump (and previous administrations), but also resisting and building a better future. We invite all to an emergency Teach-In and organizing meeting to learn about and plan for future actions in our local area.Conveners of this Emergency Meeting are the Olympia Anti-Imperialist Coalition (OAIC), the Olympia Movement for Justice and Peace (OMJP), and Economics for Everyone.Political / cultural geographer Zoltan Grossman of The Evergreen State College and others will discuss the current crisis and we will spend most of our time discussing what we can do, such as immediate responses, what we can do effectively in the South Sound and develop new plans for 2020 that can emerge from our meeting. For more information, contact Larry Mosqueda at lmosqueda@comcast.net or Peter Bohmer at peterbohmer@gmail.com.https://www.facebook.com/events/574672659759154/
