Olympia Transit Center Expansion Celebration – Postponed
March 19 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm PDT
Intercity Transit is closely monitoring the latest developments in the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and is responding to the rapidly evolving situation with measures to protect the health and safety of our customers, employees and community. With that in mind, and recent actions taken by Governor Jay Inslee and the Thurston County Board of County Commissioners to minimize COVID-19 exposure and illness, we are postponing this celebration until further notice.
Our top priorities are to continue to provide service and to keep our employees and customers healthy and safe. We appreciate you working with us to make this possible.
Let’s work together to keep each other healthy while we continue to provide this essential service. For additional information about the precautionary measures we’re taking, please visit www.intercitytransit.com/news.
Please join us on Thursday, March 19, 2020 to celebrate the completion of your new transit facility located at 205 Franklin St. NE. The event is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with a short program at 12 p.m.
The new facility is on the southeast corner of the existing downtown property. The new building and bus terminal is approximately 11,000 square feet and adds five additional bus bays to the downtown transit center.
The new terminal provides better customer amenities, including:
• An information counter.
• Public restrooms.
• Indoor waiting area.
• Greyhound’s regional bus service.
We hope to see you there!
