Date Night Comedy bring you a night to come laugh your @$$ off with some hilarious ladies!
Introducing our line-up:
Headliner: Monica Nevi is a native of Washington State, having grown up about 20 minutes south of Seattle. A collegiate basketball player, after injuries ended her career she decided to move forward with the other thing people love that women do pursue her strong interest in stand-up comedy. Years later, Monica has had the privilege of performing in the 208 Comedy Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival and the Seattle International Comedy Competition as well as an hour solo show at the Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival. She created, produced and hosted a documentary series on Amazon Prime Video called ‘80 For 80.’ She has been seen on FOX’s nationally syndicated Laughs TV Show and Seattle TV shows New Day Northwest, King 5 Morning News and The 206.
Feature: Mary Lou Gamba is a stand-up comedian and East Coast transplant living it up in the Pacific Northwest. A middle aged teenager and dirty bird with a lovable, charming with who will entertain you with silly exaggerations of her super goofy life. She performs in comedy clubs, bars and alternative stages all over the country. Additionally, Mary Lou regularly hosts and features for national headliners, has performed at The Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival and was a contestant in the 2017 Seattle International Comedy Competition.
Opener: Rachel Laurendeau was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington and got her start in comedy in Olympia while she attended The Evergreen State College. Now based out of Tacoma, Rachel works with children by day and entertains the bar crowds by night. Rachel produces a clean comedy showcase called Wholesome HaHas and co-produces various comedy events at Honey Studios in Tacoma. Rachel’s comedy is versatile and approachable with a generous sprinkling of sass. Rachel recently placed second in Seattle’s yearly Comedy on Trial competition and was selected to compete in the Western Oregon Comedy Competition. Her comedy has given her the opportunity to perform in a variety of venues such as bars, coffee shops, comedy clubs, churches, boats, and living rooms across western Washington, Oregon, and beyond.
