Organizations

The following is an incomplete compilation of organizations that LocalMotive works with or supports. Please note that we do not necessarily have a formal alliance with these groups or endorse all of their activities or have endorsements from them. The list is offered primarily as a community resource and offers a rough overview of LocalMotive’s areas of interest and mission.

Local Organizations With Events On Our Calendar

Events from the following organizations appear on our calendar.  To get your organization on this list, please email us.   Thanks.

Update:  In April 2018, Facebook implemented a new privacy policy that prevents automatically adding new events from organization’s events pages.   We now check the events pages of these organizations a few times a week to ensure new events are linked.  Then once a new event is added, automatic updating to stay in sync with any changes the organizer may make still occurs automatically on a daily cycle.  We would appreciate your emailing us when you post a new event.   Tip:  If Blu Letters is “Interested” in or “Going” to your Facebook event, your event should be on our calendar.

Political Candidates:

We curate events of statewide organizations or organizations in other regions to try to limit events that pertain primarily to other regions.  Organizations with many types of events, some of which may not on the topic of our calendar or may not be intended for a broad audience, are also curated to try to focus on events of interest to our intended audience.
